Almost every day as we walked through the door, Cutie greated us with "mommy, daddy go college again". This is her not so subtle way of telling us we can go back where we came from because she's having such a good time. And who can blame her. There were cousins to create secret hide-aways using a blanket and baby cot. There were special trips for toast and babychinos at the shops. There was hide and seek and puzzles. It was all good! Fortunately, Percy had the empathy to deliver a bright little smile and come streaking towards us each afternoon so we didn't feel too displaced. :)
We've been enjoying our last few days of "classlessness" before study resumes. We should probably be doing more constructive things, but we've dropped it a bit to just have fun. It's supposed to rain over the next few days so I guess we can always do the work then.
Poor little Percy has had a cold the last few weeks. Yesterday he really started coughing and it kept him awake during the night, I think. This evening by dinnertime, he was exhausted. He could only stop crying long enough to swallow food (crying between spoonfuls, even). Even drinking milk was hard with all the coughing. Poor guy didn't even have the energy to fight his nappy change (he hates them these days). We skipped the normal evening routine for Percy and it only took 5 minutes for him to fall asleep - an hour earlier than normal.

Usual bedtime routine: Can you roar like a lion? The story of Daniel and the Lion's Den

Hubby looks SCARY! My diva makes a pretty realistic roar. I am sure it will break her vocal cords one day!
wow you guys have gone through some pretty intensive days!
What course have you been doing. is this all in prep for next year, huh?
Your mind must been chockers!
Thinking of you!
Cousin said, "Is that really Uncle P?" She was a little shocked. But I thought he looked quite normal...
As long as the children don't start waking up with bad dreams, "sniff, sniff gulp, it was a real LION!"
Congratulations on having such secure kids! (thats what I tell myself when my children try to get rid of me too!) That picture of Hubby cracked me up - can you get it on video?!
