birthdays

Yesterday was my birthday. Cutie drew on a card for me, hubby took me out to eat and then we all went to grandparents for dinner. Cutie is outside helping her father water the grass right now to shouts of "on the grass, on the grass!" from her father and Percy is busy exploring anything and everything he can get his hands on. He has started standing alone as of two days ago. He doesn't do it often, but periodically, I look over and see him looking rather pleased with himself balancing on both feet. Percy has just discovered that everyone else is outside and he has to stay inside with me. Small whines of displeasure. More later, but for now, we'll need to get ready for church.
